‎How to Start and Become That Cool Calisthenic Woman — At Home

 ‎

‎When I started working out at home, I had no equipment ; just my phone, a big space (enough for my body and maybe for another one like me), and the desire to do cool moves 😎.

‎At first, it looked intimidating. But I was too excited and impressed when I saw girls doing handstands, pull-ups, planches... and I thought, “Why not start?”

‎But what I didn’t know is that calisthenics is a journey and it’s for everyone, even beginners (sounds obvious 😉).

‎So where should you start?

‎✔️ Start Simple, You Don’t Need a Gym Or Fancy Equipment

‎When you’re a woman starting calisthenics, the goal isn’t to “do everything.”

‎It’s to build strength slowly with what you already have. Your body.

‎Here’s what I recommend:

• ‎Start with the basics: push-ups, squats, planks, and bridges.

• ‎Use what you have at home: a table for rows, a chair for step-ups, a wall for handstand practice.

• ‎Be patient. Your progress might be slow at first, but it’s real progress.

‎Even just 20 minutes a day can change your body and your mindset.

‎In my next blog, I’ll share a simple calisthenics warm-up routine that you can do before every session, so stay tuned!

✔️ ‎Focus on Consistency, Not Perfection

‎You don’t have to train every day.

‎Start with 3 or 4 days a week and most importantly, listen to your body.

‎Some days you’ll feel strong, others you won’t. That’s normal.

‎What matters is that you keep showing up.

‎That’s why I created my 20 Fitness Affirmation Cards for Women  to remind you that your strength isn’t only physical.

‎It’s in your mindset, your patience, your consistency.

‎You can get them here on Chariow. Print them or keep them on your phone for motivation before every workout.

‎✔️ My Favorite Beginner Calisthenics Moves

‎Start with pushups, squats, bridges, pull ups and leg raises.

‎Here's a video (that I truly recommend) that will give a step by step guide on how to start calisthenic at home.

‎I literally started  there. And I'm satisfied with the great results I see on myself.

‎Take your time with each move, focus on form, and don’t compare yourself to anyone.

‎You’ll discover how powerful your body actually is, and how every little win counts.

‎✔️ Final Thoughts

‎Calisthenics taught me that you don’t need a gym to grow

‎ You just need discipline, patience, and belief in yourself.

‎If you’re starting, take it one step at a time.

‎And when motivation fades, read your affirmations, breathe, and remind yourself why you started.

‎Do you do calisthenics at home too?
